What it means to be a Holistic Financial Advisor

If you google the term “Holistic” you will see that it is defined as a diverse field of alternative medicine in which the “whole person” is focused on, not just the malady itself.  Well, the same exact thing applies to my financial advisory practice, as we often talk about looking at the whole or comprehensive picture when it comes to financial planning with our clients.
I do encourage my clients to take a step back and really look at their entire picture before making a big financial decision. It is important they we look at the key pieces of the tax strategy, savings plan, investment program, and debt reduction as pieces to the financial puzzle.
