Welcome to the Newburyport Entrepreneur – CPA on the Street. In this series I travel around town and visit with other entrepreneurs and small business owners to find out if they love Newburyport as much as I do! The goal of the series is to provide educational and fun information directly from the business owners themselves.
Today I had fun learning from David Buckley, a local entrepreneur who has bought and sold many businesses over the years and has a ton of knowledge in the field of niche equipment. His latest business is sure to bring a huge smile to the many locals who enjoy the many fine craft beers that are on the market now.
Glanola is Irish for “Clean Drink,” and David’s new technology will allow bars to clean their lines on demand as opposed to waiting every few weeks to have the lines cleaned automatically. Now, bar owners and brewers will have a way to know that their lines are as clean as possible. I love how the technology coordinates with an Ipad so everyone involved can see the status of the lines as they are completed.
If you head down to the Port tavern in Newburyport you can taste the beer for yourself! Let me know what you think of the cleanest, freshest tap beer around! You can read a great review of Glanola here from the Newburyport Daily News as well.
